ToeTodoist is the perfect tool for managing your to-do lists, and it’s so easy to use! Simply add a calendar event to your calendar, choose which days will be added as to-dos, and then start a timer for the period that is added as a to-do.
Well, this one isn’t as easy as it sounds, but it’s actually pretty straight forward. It’s just a set of instructions. It’s pretty much the same as the ones you might find in a manual, but there is a ton of information about the plugin and how to use it. The only thing I didn’t like about this one is that it won’t let you set a timer to add to your to-dos.
Ive found that it is easier to add to-dos for something than something because its easy to say “I must get to work now” and then add something to your to-do list. In my experience, its easier to add a day to a to-do list that is already scheduled to be done than a to-do with an unknown timeframe that may or may not be time-limited.
It is more efficient to have a to-do that can be set to whatever you want to be done at any given time and not have to have a timer on your to-do that says “if I don’t get to work in 5 minutes, I will finish my to-do list”.
The problem is if I want to do something and not have to wait 5 minutes to see if I can get the job done, I can’t very well say I will not finish my to-do list while knowing I’ll have to wait for 5 minutes. I can say something like “I’ve got to finish this to-do” or “I will finish it in 20 minutes from now.
This is a very common issue. While there are a ton of plugins that manage to solve the “I have to finish this task” problem, they don’t solve the “I have to wait for this task to finish” problem. So I think we’ll just have to wait for the plugin developers to come up with something better.
