The moment I’ve been thinking about in this post, I have started thinking about the feeling that my life now is on autopilot. Instead of thinking about what I want, I can just sit there, and start thinking about what I want, and how I want it more than I think I will.
So a lot of people are always saying they want to be more productive. That is a pretty big wish on their part. But what if you want to be more productive without being productive? That is a pretty big thing to ask for, because the answer will be a lot of work. It will also be a lot of self-perpetuation, because time is finite. Like all goals, it is best to set your goals for success.
I don’t like the idea of having two goals in the same conversation. I like the idea of having two goals in the same discussion.
Yes, there is a lot of self-perpetuation and self-fulfillment. But I don’t know that it’s all that important. I find that it can be hard to set goals that are both important and attainable. I don’t see much value in having to sacrifice one for the other.
I think self-fulfillment is important! I also think that it can be hard to set goals that are both important and attainable. I dont think that the “I want this to be important” or “I want to be important” is necessarily a bad thing.

For example, the first goal we set for ourselves is to win the lottery. I think that this is something we could do and accomplish even if we were not aware of it. And if we were aware of it, we could set a goal like, “I want to go to college,” and still get into college. We could also set a goal like, “I want a dog,” and then have that dog as part of the family.
Setting goals is one of the most important things we can do. If you know you want something, then you can make a goal for it. But setting goals without knowing what you want is a recipe for failure. I’m not saying we shouldn’t set goals, but we need to know what we want and then set goals for it.
It doesn’t have to be a big goal. You can just look at something and say, “I want a bigger fridge” or “I want a bigger kitchen.” If you know you want something, then you can set goals around it.
